So Van is nearing his 23 month mark. I sort of refuse to believe it. But one thing I can't deny is how much fun I'm having being his mom. He's so creative and of course, he's a genius. I'm not too humble to say it, mostly because I don't think it has anything to do with me. Matt and I have a theory that Van realized early on that he needed to pick up life skills fast because he had us as parents. So by default, he's pretty sharp. I'm afraid it's only a few months away of when he'll actually pass me in intellect. I'm preparing for that, don't worry. I keep trying to get some video of his interpretive dances, but it just never works out. You'll just have to take my word for it that it's pretty amazing. This picture is the result of me telling him to smile. Pretty sure we'll never get a normal smiling picture again...Anyway, one of my favorite things to listen to are his prayers. They've evolved lately into blessing a lot of key people, for example: Bono, Mickey Mouse, Mo (our cat), Hoho Clause(Santa) and Thomas the Train. I promise I didn't even tell him to say Bono, he just did it on his own. I have witnesses. What can I say? He has good taste.

That's awesome that he prayed for Bono, what a funny boy. I had someone tell me to ask your kids questions and capture their expressions while talking. I ask my kids to make funny faces, which I capture, but also catch them laughing at themselves after. Does that make sense? Anyway, I don't know if we told you congrats on the pregnancy! We are happy for you two.
Thanks Brook! We're excited and more freaked out than last time! Probably just because we sort of know what we're getting into with another baby. Hope you and your darling little family are doing well!!
