The life of my two year old goes something like this: make a huge mess in the living room, empty all the clothes out of ALL drawers, chase the cat, find mom's headbands and look adorable to get out of cleaning up everything, drink some apple juice, chase the cat, hide inside the cupboard so mom freaks out and can't find me, play outside, chase the cat and chase the cat again.
Just like when Van came into this world, he's hit the ground running for his second birthday. I'll post some real life birthday pictures later. Another thing he works into his day is dishes. So like the genius my mom is, she bought him this sink he plays with outside! Since I'll be hugely pregnant all summer, this bad boy will help ease things for me. Van absolutely loves it.
Look at how hard he's working to get that bucket out! Within about 20 seconds, he was headed for our cat. Lucky for Morrison, that by the time Van got there, most of the water had spilled. Mo still got a fair amount though. Those two have a love hate relationship. Happy birthday to my boy! He really is the joy of my life. Isn't that the funny thing about being a parent? It's absolutely the most exhausted thing in the world, but I can't say anything else has brought me this much sheer joy. Can't wait to do it again soon!

I agree with you. Kids are so exhausting and can be maddening... but they bring so much laughter and joy. I don't know how many times a day Andy and I look at each other and laugh after what a child said or did. I'm excited you're having a girl! They are wonderful and you'll love it. Congratulations from the Tanners!!!!!
